Thunderbird Entertainment’s Ceo Jennifer Twiner Mccarron Named Playback Magazine’s 2018 Exec Of The Year

Vancouver, Canada (December 5, 2018)— Thunderbird Entertainment Group Inc. (TSXV:TBRD) (“Thunderbird” or the “Company”), a global multiplatform entertainment company with offices in Los Angeles, London, Vancouver, Ottawa and Toronto, congratulates its CEO, Jennifer Twiner McCarron, for being named Playback Magazine’s 2018 “Exec of the Year.” In receiving this recognition, Twiner McCarron is being acknowledged as the most innovative, interesting and successful executive of 2018, as determined byPlayback’seditorial team.

Twiner McCarron joined Atomic Cartoons as head of production in 2011, where she helped grow the company from 25 artists to more than 450. In 2016, when Thunderbird acquired the company, Twiner McCarron was promoted to the role of President and CEO of Atomic. Under her leadership, Atomic shifted from being primarily a service hub, to become a full-fledged, independent content creator, producing content such as Beat Bugsand The Last Kids on Earthfor Netflix, and optioning the rights to New York Timesbest selling books, such as Savannah Guthrie’s Princesses Wear Pants.

In June 2018, Twiner McCarron was appointed CEO of Thunderbird Entertainment, a role which oversees all of the Company’s animated, factual and scripted divisions. In October 2018, she led the Company through its listing on the TSX V, and in December 2018, Twiner McCarron oversaw the Company’s first major expansion, with the opening of a new production hub in Ottawa, Canada.
