For 22 years, Atomic Cartoons has been a leading animation studio known for its inspiring animation. The heart and soul of our studio is its more than 800 artists, producers and creators. Atomic’s series can be seen on Netflix, Disney, Nickelodeon, PBS, CBC and many other platforms.
Atomic is part of Thunderbird Entertainment, one of the fastest-growing companies in Canada who has also been honored as one of the most diverse companies in Canada. Atomic has studios in Vancouver, Ottawa and Los Angeles.
Atomic’s leadership team has decades of experience producing and distributing hit animated series for television and direct-to-consumer platforms and other media. Its President of Global Distribution and CP, Richard Goldsmith, has previously helped establish major global kids’ brands at companies including Warner Bros., The Jim Henson Company and leading European studio Cyber Group.
Atomic’s recently-formed Global Distribution and Consumer Products group is looking for extraordinary kids’ television series that are in development or in production. Atomic can invest in the production with a distribution advance, help secure other production financing and manage the worldwide media and consumer products rights. Since we are a group of creators as well, we view distribution more as a collaboration with other creators, producers and studios than a service business. Given our production expertise and the financial benefits of producing in Canada, we could be a wonderful co-producer as well.
